Apparently, we all want the same things. We want togetherness, answers, someone to talk to, to be Peeping Toms, and to find work. Some folks at SocialMediaToday recently asked via Twitter why people used the social media tool and these were some of the most popular answers they heard back. If you’re using Twitter and want more followers, think about the reasons that others are there and try to provide them with what they want. If you’re an advocate, give people information they can use to advocate for themselves. If you’re a business, provide your followers with answers to their problems with products they use. If you are an individual, be fun and engaging.
