ETHICS COMPLIANCE SERVICES
Report Filing
Most organizations find themselves interacting with state government in some way – they either need funding through the budget process, they do business with the state as state contractors or they seek permits or licenses from various state agencies. While engaged in these activities, it is easy to be unaware that you are subject to the laws under the jurisdiction of the Office of State Ethics.
The ethics rules in Connecticut are in a constant state of flux. If your company or organization is engaged in lobbying, Ethical Influence will help you stay abreast of any changes to ensure that you do not run afoul of the law. If you are a state contractor, these regulations also apply to you. In addition, almost all of the 169 municipalities also have ethics rules that govern business interaction with the towns.
Ethical Influence will advise your organization if it must register with the Office of State Ethics and will assist with the required registration and regular financial reporting. EI will coordinate with internal staff all of the record-keeping methods necessary for proper reporting. If your business contracts with towns, EI will assist in your compliance with that town’s rules.
